Volunteer Information Packet

We appreciate you volunteering for Terp Float 2023 ! Most of you have been contacted via email or phone number. We are finalizing all shifts for the weekend, I have attached our current and most up to date schedule! If you do not see your name on the schedule please reach out to get your shift (s) scheduled.

When you arrive at the festival you will check in at the main entrance, they will get you a wristband and give you a quick rundown on expectations. Please ensure you are present for the shift we have you scheduled. You will not be issued a wristband unless you already have a shift scheduled.

You will check in for your shift in one of two places. If you are working the float, parking or main check in , you will head up to that area to start your shift. If you are scheduled to work the Terp Tent, Main Stage / Trash Duty you can check in for your shift at the official Terp Float Merch Booth inside the festival grounds. The volunteer schedule will be posted at the main check in and the terp float merch booth for reference.

Each volunteer station will have a dedicated walkie talk to communicate with supervisors or higher ups during your shift. If you need anything at all please let us know.

FLOATING: Volunteers who work 2 shifts are eligible for a float trip. Please note this is not a priority over paid floaters and its a possibility we wont have floats available on Friday or Saturday. We will do our best to accommodate our volunteers but please note its not guaranteed you will float FRI or SAT. We are planning a volunteer / artist / employee float on SUNDAY which all volunteers that worked 2 shifts are invited to attend.
